Pathpoint taps Heron to automate document workflows in commercial insurance

Over the last year, Heron has gained significant traction with Managing General Agents (MGAs) in the commercial insurance sector. Our solution is specifically designed to streamline data entry for fleet, property and casualty insurance. Moreover, it’s easily adaptable to meet the unique requirements of niche specialty lines.

Today, Heron Data is a category leader in document workflow automation. Heron Data processes between 50,000 and 100,000 documents per day and we are proud to have over 100 financial institutions as customers. We’ve started by focusing on two key workflows: the intake of submissions from agents or brokers (e.g, emails with ACORD forms, Loss Runs and statement of values, fleet lists or driver losts) and processing inspection reports for property insurance.

Today, we want to highlight a recent customer in insurance: Pathpoint!

Pathpoint is a fast-growing, venture-backed digital wholesaler. Pathpoint connects agents to highly rated small commercial excess and surplus lines (E&S) insurance markets, allowing thousands of independent insurance agents to quickly quote and bind coverage through a seamless online application.

This August, Pathpoint partnered with Heron to use Heron’s fast-growing AI insurance co-worker product to automatically ingest, read, and evaluate inspection reports. Within a few weeks of going live with Heron, Pathpoint has already saved hours of manual work in processing inspection reports and has significantly better access to inspection data.
